Here are the notes I took from the Toone tour Uncle Jim took us on:
Mark Ephrium Beazer
-would herd sheep over to Antelope Island
-was born in Chimney Rock Nebraska in a covered wagon
-grew up in Kaysville
-went to Canada to find new land
-Beazer, AB is named after him
-his son Alvin is Afton's dad.
-Aunt Ellen is named after Ellen Burton, Mark Ephrium's wife.
Alvin Beazer
-from Kaysville, UT
-went to Alberta for land
-married Verda Duce who was from Logan, UT
-very simple people, not a lot of money
-Verda was a teacher
-Alvin was quiet, not very social, a rancher
Mark and Hannah Beazer
-converted to the church in England and came to the states. Mark left family money. The Beazers in England were prominent architects.
-Hannah was in labour and delivered Mark Ephrium in a wagon on their way.
George Toone & Elizabeth Moholland
-both families go to Canada to homestead
-met going to college in Salt Lake
-Elizabeth's grandfather was Adam Hunter who was called by Brigham Young to be a stone cutter for the salt lake temple.
1847-1863 was the years the pioneers crossed the plains. 16 lines of our ancestors came across during those years as pioneers.
1880's is when they start heading to Canada/
All came from Wales, Scotland, and England through Ellis island.
Grant's family came with Brigham Young. John Toone came in 1848. John Toone made the trip multiple times to help bring others across. He knew Brigham Young personally.

John Toone
-married Emma Prosser
-asked to join polygamy and marries 2 other women
-Emma stays in Salt Lake by herself.
-George Toone is Emma's grandson
-Emma is barried by herself in Salt Lake
-John is barried in Croudon, UT
